SBS’s Kim Byung Man’s The Law of The Jungle, in which celebrities find their old selves and learn how to survive in Africa, finally begins.
The show premieres on the 21st. Here are some key points of the show to consider.
The first key point – Kim Byung Man’s endless challenging spirit and frustration
The challenging spirit of comedian Kim Byung Man is evidently shown through KBS 2’s Gag Concert and SBS’sKiss & Cry. In Kiss & Cry, Kim insisted on ice skating despite of tremendous pain on his feet. It is gathering attention on how his challenging spirit would be applied in wildlife in Africa.
However, Kim confesses that this challenge was not easy. Unlike other shootings in a studio with all staff present, he was alone in nature and had to take care of himself. Kim says, “I became frightened for the first time in my life.”
The second key point – The way Kim survives
Kim’s ability to build three resting places, living up to his degrees in architecture engineering, and to catch 30 fish with a knife has already become an issue.
The ways he survives for a week finding food and places to stay without any help from the staff is drawing attention.
The third key point– Human nature at its limit
Ryu Dam, Kwang Hee, and Ricky Kim had to work in a team with Kim Byung Man in order to survive in Africa.
However, as time goes, the show is expected to show how people go through psychological changes, conflicts, and reconciliation through hardship.
