Girl Groups’ Performances at Wave K Super Rookies

Four girl groups performed at Wave K Super Rookies, a special year-end and New Year episode of Arirang TV’s Wave K in collaboration with Korea.com. The girl groups were Brave Girls, C-Real, Rania and Wind Hold Venus.Brave Girls performed their single Why So Often and a sexy dance rendition of Shakira’s Give It To Me. Emcee Brian Joo praised the group and said they could be Beyonce girls. Member Hyeran also had an impromptu freestyle rap while emcee Eru was doing the beatbox.

Aside from showing their fans a different feel by doing some Beyonce moves they also performed their hit single No No No No No. Re Dee happens to be emcee Eru’s hoobae at school so she was asked to show the audience her rapping prowess.

It even got hotter in the studio when Rania showed their sexy moves through their addictive single Pop Pop Popand a special dance number of Janet Jackson’s Feedback. Emcee Brian Joo asked if someone in the group could do some aegyo for the audience. They all pointed at Xia, and she did the recently trending “buyi buyi”aegyo.

Wind Hold Venus exudes a different aura from other girl groups being a dance-based rock band. They performed their debut single Call Me and an awesome acoustic rendition of Hanson Brother’s MMM Bop. To introduce the members of the group, bass Ha Young started to rap over vocal Tamra’s beatbox.
