Brought to you by Play Projects and Butter Factory, Singapore, and which I assume that this is the product from the fashionable club owners Bobby and Ritz trip to Seoul, was the GAJA! A new Thursday-night weekly hit to feed all your Korean needs. Specializing to bring Korean DJ’s all the way from the Land of the Morning Calm, GAJA! ended with its first exciting and surprising success on 15 December 2011!
Doors opened at 10PM, letting the early party goers in with eager K-pop fans party people that queued early from the start. The party didn’t really started until midnight. The songs were played on the playlist with a mix of K-pop and Top 40′s American hits.
Despite a long wait to finally see the star of the night, BEATBURGER, to spin, the fans wasn’t disappointed for the stellar acts prepared for that night: First was the Singapore-based girl dance groupwho debuted earlier in May, CINQSWAN! It sure did bring the boys wild as they danced out to the climax of the dance SNSD “The Boys” of the full choreography of the chorus.
But to an utter surprise, BEATBURGER Gregory and Jaewon, also the performance director for SM Entertainment did an unforgettable, live experience you won’t find anywhere else: from Super Junior’s ‘Bonamana’, ‘Mr Simple’, ‘Sorry Sorry’, SHINee Lucifer’, and back to SNSD “The Boys”, you would only have to be there yourself to experience in such a small space, they manage to dance the choreography in perfect motion, full of power and correct move points at the dot.
Ones that weren’t in the full-house dance floor that night, here are the feverent pictures from the their dance special!
Can you feel the energy and fever that is made from the crowd and the stage which they moved up shortly. You’re definitely missing the true euphoria of such performance you can’t get anywhere else this close with the ones that has trained and worked closely with our favorite SM stars! What’s more is that Min Ju picked up his guitar and rocked on stage, which made the people come back for more to the front of the stage.
Songs like 2NE1 Lonely remixed, Super Junior tracks, SHINee‘s Ring Ding Dong, GDTOP’s High High andBIGBANG tacks as favorite of the night with a fresh spin of western pop. With even DJ MASA’s coming down to check it out on his first day back in Singapore, relieve the euphoria and powerful energy with the full-house hardcore K-pop party people below!
It was an amazing dynamic debut indeed for the permanent Thursday-nights at The Butter Factory, Singapore! Be sure to mark your calendar for GAJA!
