“We dream of becoming a girl group like Fin.K.L and SES.”A Pink who are showing off their fresh and lovely charms in various broadcasts confidently say that they want to become a girl group like Fin.K.L and SES.
One of the reasons is that the music style that A Pink is aiming for is not much different from that of Fin.K.L and SES. Not only that A Pink wants to be as popular as Fin.K.L and SES who swept across the singing industry as popular idol groups from the end of 1990s to the beginning of 2000.
A Pink aims to be a girl group that is good at ballad and dance. Of course it’s fundamental to do various genres of music. However, A Pink made a comeback with “It Girl” I Don’t Know” and “My My” to appeal their charms 100% to the public.
“The music style is similar to that of our previous songs. Our strategy is to show the public the style that A Pink does best. The melodies of ‘My My’ can be easily memorized after listening to it a couple of times. You will sure be able to feel the charms of seven members of A Pink.”
Most of the members are in their mid and late teens. Maybe because they lived in the dormitory when they are the most sensitive, they are very considerate to each other.
“It was really uncomfortable living in the dormitory at first. It’s a lot better now because we care for others since we are at the age of puberty. We comfort each other when someone is distressed, and we congratulate each other when there is something to celebrate. We also had a lot of talks and became very intimate. I think our lively charms are standing out in the music because we are so close together.”
A Pink’s biggest worry is how to communicate to the public with their music.
“I hope to communicate with the public with this album. Please remember our names and sing along. If so, we’re sure that we’ll be loved much more in our next album. The lyrics and the melodies of ‘My My’ expresses the sensitivity of teenage girls. It is quite an addicting and attractive song. Please listen to it many times!”
A Pink who received the Rookie Award at Mnet Asian Music Award that was held in Singapore, will most likely receive multiple Rookie Awards at the end of the year. If A Pink is chosen as the rising star of 2011, not many people would disagree.
A Pink who released their mini album, Seven Springs Of A Pink on April 19 and appealed their fresh charms since then, continued their activities in June with a remix version of “It Girl” and the soundtrack of the a TV series, Protect The Boss in August.
“We’re trying our best to make Snow Pink’s title song ‘My My’ become popular. There are a few key points in our dances: E.T dance, V line dance, and driving dance. I hope they are loved by the public.”
A Pink succeeded in making the public recognize them despite their short-term activities. A Pink plans to endeavor in communicating their music and showing off their charms.
“We will try our best no matter what. Our live stages are not very stable yet, but I’m sure it will get better if we practice and try harder. We will try harder to learn and become good singers. Especially like Fin.K.L and SES.”
