TVXQ is the most frequently searched male celebrity in Japan

The MSN Japan, a leading Japanese portal site, conducted a survey to rank the most frequently searched top 50 male celebrities. As a result, TVXQ took the first place, beating out popular Japanese stars.
With its single, “Why? (Keep Your Head Down),” released in January, TVXQ has made a series of significant records: sweeping all the Japanese charts including the Oricon Daily Single Chart and the Oricon Monthly Chart.
In addition, its regular album, Tone, released in September, as well exceeded 200,000 copies in sales just in a week since its release, the amazing record made by a foreign artist in Japan in 11 years. The album also ranked top on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart.
At the 2011 FNS Music Festival, a renowned Japanese year-end music show, which aired on the Fuji TV network on December 7, TVXQ heated up the hall with a fantastic performance with “Why?”
At the 53rd Japan Record Awards to hold on December 30, TVXQ is expected to win an excellent award, which means they are nominated for the Grand Prize. Moreover, they were invited to the NHK Red & White Year End Music Festival, the third time following the years of 2008 and 2009.
TVXQ is on an Asia concert tour for a sort of a year-end party with fans. The two-boy group will meet with Singaporean fans on December 9, and with Taiwanese fans on December 11.
