“A Thousand Days’ Promises,” Seo Yeon feels sorry to Hyang Ki

Seo Yeon (Soo Ae) attracted the audience’s attention by showing interest in Hyang Ki (Jung Yumi) and feeling sorry to her.

In the episode of SBS TV’s A Thousand Days’ Promises that aired on December 5, Seo Yeon, pregnant with Ji Hyung (Kim Rae Won)’s baby after getting married with him, showed interest in Hyang Ki, Ji Hyung’s former fiancee.

Right before his wedding with Hyang Ki, Ji Hyung decided to go back to Seo Yeon, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s. However, Hyang Ki only wished their happiness.

Seo Yeon suggested to play a word game and said “Hyang Ki.” She asked, “How is she doing?” Ji Hyung answered, “My mom doesn’t say anything. We don’t ask about her, and no text messages about her, either.”

Seo Yeon showed interest in her by saying, “Once in a while, I think of her. I wonder how well she is and how she is doing now. I wonder how she felt at that time and what made her not to give me a call and just to wish our happiness.” She said, “If I were her, I would go and slap her and pour water all over her body. Even if it’s not that extreme, I would at least give her a call. I would not say much but at least mock her by saying ‘You are the worst.’”

Ji Hyung responded, “Hyang Ki doesn’t know how to think negatively. She is vulnerable, gentle, and kind. Instead of hating and blaming me, I tried to have her understand me.”

At this, Seo Yeon said, “She is unrealistic, you are cruel, and I’m a highway robber. If you ever get to talk to her, please tell her that I’m sincerely sorry for her. I hope she understands me because I’m a sick person.” Hyang Ki also showed interest in Seo Yeon once and said, “I hope she was my sister.” So the audience now wonders how their relationship will go on.
