Singer and actress Son Dam Bi said, “It was really thoughtful of them,” about the small amount on her play at the beginning of the series.
A press conference of MBC’s drama series Light And Shadow was held on December 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do.
Son Dam Bi said, “I think they were very considerate to give me a small amount of play at the beginning of the series. You learn many things at the beginning.
Also, it was a great opportunity to show you what I’ve got by giving a performance as a singer of the show group in the series.”
About what people around her had said regarding her acting, Son said, “I haven’t appeared much of the scenes so far, so I don’t think there would be enough things to say about my acting yet. But I appear a lot in the seventh and eighth episodes, and I’m also looking forward to your critiques after watching them.”
Light And Shadow tells contemporary history of Korea since 1960 to this day through a life of a man who had been living as an entertainer in a show group. The series will bring to your living room big historical events such as Vietnam War, The May Coup d’ État, and the Assasination of Park Chung Hee on October 26, as well as other spectacular events.
The character Yoo Chae Young, which Son Dam Bi plays, is a rising star in a show group and her venomous personality wants everything perfect in pursuing her goal. Viewers build expectations over Son’s sharp, ferocious acting later in the series.
