Actor Lee Byung Hun gives his first shot at Korean historical films through I Am The King Of Joseon.
The movie is motivated by the story of “Prince and the Pauper.”Lee Byung Hun plays a double role of a low-class person and the King Kwanghaegun. The film tells a story of a low-class person opening his eyes to the role of kings as he make decisions for King Kwanghaegun.
Director Choo Chang Min, who produced the movies Mapado and I Love You, is directing this upcoming movie. Hwang Jo Youn from the movie Oldboy is writing the scripts.
After getting things worked out for his role, Lee Byung Hun is now wrapping up his shooting of G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation in New Orleans, U.S. and is planning on working on the new movie at the beginning of next year.
Lee is also planning an arena tour in Japan expecting 60,000 people in the audience.
