Exemplary soldier Rain receives six nights and seven days ‘special furlough’

Singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) was selected as an exemplary soldier and received commendation.

Rain was selected as a special soldier at a boot camp in November and he received division commander commendation. Additionally, he received special furlough for six nights and seven days.

Rain was an example for other recruits during boot camp and he was especially skilled at shooting. As a result, he received a commendation at the new recruit training graduation.

In order to be selected as a special soldier, he did over 72 push-ups and 82 sit-ups in 2 minutes and did a 3-kilometer race in 12 and a half seconds. He then shot a bull’s eye, nine out of ten times each, during the day and night.

Rain hasn’t set the exact date for his furlough yet.
