Big Bang’s Japanese best album vaults to the top on the Oricon Album Chart

The December 15 Oricon chart, Japan’s most renowned music ranking chart, showed that Big Bang’s Japanese best album, The BEST Of Bing Bang, released on December 14, vaulted to the top position on the Oricon Daily Album Chart on the same day put on sale.
The significant achievement reflects how influential Big Bang is in the Japanese music industry.
To reciprocate fans’ constant love and support, all five members of Big Bang are planning to attend the YG Family concert to celebrate its 15th anniversary. The concert will be held in Kyocera Dome Osaka for two days on January 7 and 8 next year and in Saitama Super Arena, Tokyo also for two days on January 21 and 22.
Earlier, Big Bang made headlines in overseas media when they won the Worldwide Act at the 2011 MTV EMA held in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, on November 6 (local time), which is meaningful because among the final nominees include big name global singers: Britney Spears, Lena, and other stars from Africa, India and the Middle East.
Meanwhile, U-Kiss’s Japanese debut single, “Tick Tack,” as well made the third position of the December 15 Oricon chart.
