Big Bang’s Daesung and actress Im Joo Eun recently thanked musical actor Jo Jung Seok for all his help.
On December 6, a press conference for MBN’s weekend series What’s Up was held in Seoul.
At the conference, Jo was asked what he taught the other actors since he is a talented musical actor. He replied, “I didn’t teach them anything. I just appeared in several musicals and Daesung and Im are great singers and actors who just haven’t appeared in musicals.”
He added, “There were music teachers and choreographers so I didn’t teach them anything.”
Im, however, said, “Musical actors, singers, actors, and models were all gathered to shoot the series. And Jo helped us a lot. When I first started practicing musical songs I was out of tune and I forgot some of the dance moves as well. But Jo was a great help.”
Daesung said, “Jo never told me what I should do. But a camera director saw him performing and said that is the way to play the part. All the actors monitored each other. Jo taught us through his acting and the description of the personalities and characters.”
The series is about the dreams, passion and love of several 20 year old students who are majoring in musical theater.
Many popular stars, including, Im Joo Hwan, Daesung, Oh Man Seok, Kim Ji Won, Jang Hee Jin, Im Joo Eun, Jo Jung Seok, and Lee Soo Hyuk will appear on the series. The series will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 p.m.
