Scooter Braun Thinks 'Gentleman' Has A Lot Of Potential, 'Psy Represents Having A Good Time'

When American entertainment manager Scooter Braun signed Psy to School Boy Records last year, it was a massive step forward for the Korean rapper.
Braun noted, "People love to watch that guy dance. It makes people have fun, and I think music should be a release," in an interview with MTV News.
Now that focus has shifted from "Gangnam Style" to "Gentleman," Braun puts in his two cents about the latest single, saying that the song and video have the potential to rival the incredible success of the freshman video if it continues moving at its same pace.
"Gentleman" has amassed well over 200 million views in just about two weeks time whereas "Gangnam Style" took about a month to have 100 million views. The "Gangnam" follow-up not only broke new YouTube records, but made it into the Billboard Hot 100 and topped record sales around the world.
"It went like to number 1 in like 52 countries, so it was kind of mind-blowing for us," said Braun to MTV News last week. "He's just fun. And I think he's coming to the State end of this week to start performing it on TV, and around the world. And he represents having a good time, so good for him."
