Audiophile Psy fans are looking forward to the Korean rapper's latest collaboration - this time with SOUL Elecrtonics to create a new brand line of headphones.
Psy is working with the company to create a series of special-edition headphones and speakers and will also act as a representative for the brand for the next year.
"Psy has taken pop culture by storm," explained Lan Kennedy-Davis, the CEO of SOUL Electonics USA.
Kennedy-Davis explained Psy's international appeal by describing the 35-year old musician as "globally recognized for his irresistible sound and entertaining performances.
"Merging Psy's distinct style with the superior wuality and performance of SOUL's headphones and audio speakers will create an undeniable product line suitable for tastemakers and music enthusiasts alike," said the company's leader.
Psy seems to agree. Adding his two cents, the "Gentleman" singer said, "I want to give my fans the best music performance possible, and by working with SOUL, I can now offer the ultimate sound experience with Psy-style that fans can make their own."
And Psy is not the first, nor the only brand ambassador for SOUL Electronics. The company has shown its diversity and widespread appeal through similar projects with rapper Ludacris, American football player Tim Tebow, as well as Olympian (and arguably the fastest man in the world) Usain Bolt.
An interesting mix of folks that help demonstrate the far-reaching scope of the electronics brand.
