SHINee’s independent London concert finishes with good success

SHINee’s gala opening concert of the sixth London Korean Film Festival finished with good success, held at 4:00 p.m.(local time) on November 3 at the Odeon West End of Leicester Square.
From early morning, a crowd of SHINee’s fans swarmed around the concert hall, carrying a variety of creative placards with Korean alphabets that said, for example, “I love SHINee;” singing in chorus the boy band’s hit songs; and performing dance moves to the songs.
Someone from the Odeon says, “The tickets for the SHINee’s gala opening show were all sold out at a rapider speed than the record the hit film series Harry Potter made. It is the first time for the ticket sales system to be knocked down.”
At the scene, most of the renowned British media including Guardian, Independent, the Times and CNN appeared, proving the high popularity of the Korean boy band.
The show includes a series of hit songs such as “Ring Dong Dong,” “Nona, You’re So Pretty,” “Juliette,” and “Lucifer.” The hit-song parade induced shrieks from the audience.
SHINee will return to Koreaon November 4 after completing the tightly pre-planned schedule in London. On December 12, SHINee’s first Japanese album, The First, will be released.
