Behind-the-scenes video for Yoon Mi Rae’s “Get It In” is released.
After being released on music websites on the 27th, Yoon’s “Get It In” ranked No. 1 on the major websites’ music charts in an hour, proving Yoon’s power as a hip hop queen. Especially for this album, she tried bold action scenes for the first time in her music video.
The behind-the-scenes video contains edited part of Yoon preparing for “Get It In” music video. Through this 10-minute-long video, people can see Yoon’s action scene preparation and her natural looks such as practicing the scenes with her martial arts director and teasing her teammates.
Additionally, people can see action scenes of her husband Tiger JK and Leessang’s Gary, who made a cameo appearance in her music video. Director of the music video, Lumpens, reveals another meaning of the music video’s last scene where Yoon stabs Tiger JK.
This music video was made as Yoon and Tiger JK participated in Creator’s Project, a global cultural support program of Intel and Vice, as Korean representative. Among many support programs of Creator’s Project, this music video was created in collaboration with visual artist Lumpens through The Studio which sponsored collaboration works between artists.
Yoon said, “This music video is in a form of homage and an innovative film noir genre. We tried a form which is totally different from the previous ones. It was interesting and very meaningful to me.”
