KARA’s Han Seung Yeon drops tears watching lifesaving dogs’ retirement

KARA’s Han Seung Yeon dropped tears watching lifesaving dogs’ retirement.
On the 6th, TV Animal Farm aired a heart-warming retirement ceremony of two lifesaving dogs, Nalssaeni and Barami, and Shin Dong Yeop at the end revealed, “Seung Yeon cried watching the lifesaving dogs’ retirement.”
At this, Han got embarrassed and said, “Why did you talk about that?” still trying hard not to cry. Han also said, “Nalssaeni and Barami are fortunately adapted, but it is still true that conditions for specially trained dogs after their retirement are not very good in Korea.”
Lee Yoon Ah explained, “In case of drug detection dogs, they are often used as subjects for dissection at animal experiment labs.” Kim Saeng Min also also explained, “In overseas countries, people have military dogs and police dogs put to sleep so that they cannot be used wrongly for crime.”
Shin said, “I hope that specially trained dogs can be considered and treated well even after their retirement.”
Lifesaving dogs are usually trained for 3 years after their birth in order to become lifesaving dogs, and one usually plays the role of 30 rescue workers. Nalssaeni and Barami played a very active part by going to the relief 175 times total and saving 28 people. They are going to live with Jo Choon Rae, a former handler (a fireman who trains lifesaving dogs).
