BIG BANG IS THE NEXT GUEST TO APPEAR ON CNN’S “TALK ASIA”

CNN has announced BIG BANG as the next guest to be interviewed on “Talk Asia.” The group will be talking about their 10-year anniversary, as well as how they became a K-pop group that represents Korea.
CNN’s “Talk Asia” is a program that invites people who are representatives of different fields such as politics, economics, culture, entertainment, and sports. Previous guests on the show were Epik High, Kim Yuna, and Park Ji Sung.
On September 3, CNN released a teaser through Facebook, promoting BIG BANG’s upcoming appearance on the show. They released the second teaser on September 5. BIG BANG’s full interview on “Talk Asia” will be broadcast on September 8, 5:30 p.m. KST.

BOY BAND BIG BANG TO APPEAR ON CNN TALK SHOW


South Korean boy band Big Bang will appear on the U.S. cable news network CNN later this week to talk about their past and future as a 10-year-old group, their management agency said Monday.
Big Bang’s five members — G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P., Daesung, and Seungri — filmed an interview with CNN’s Seoul correspondent Paula Hancocks last month to discuss their 10th anniversary and their journey to becoming South Korea’s top K-pop stars, according to YG Entertainment.
The interview will air on CNN’s “Talk Asia” on Thursday.
Other South Koreans who have appeared on the show include singer Rain, hip-hop group Epik High, figure skater Kim Yu-na, and footballer Park Ji-sung.
According to CNN’s website, some highlights of the interview are Taeyang’s thoughts on what has kept the group together, G-Dragon’s comments on the hard work they put into their music and each member’s dreams for the future.
