G-Dragon and Taeyang coach Team A and B on 'WIN'

If you thought things couldn't get any more exciting with the YG v. JYP battle last week, guess again because Yang Hyun Suk cooked up another interesting battle for Team A and B by appointing Big Bang's G-Dragon and Taeyang as their coaches on the latest episode of 'WIN'!

On the September 20th broadcast of 'WIN', Taeyang was appointed as coach for Team A and G-Dragon for Team B. Both Big Bang members expressed their anticipation for the battle of pride with G-Dragon revealing that every time he would face off against Taeyang during their trainee days, he would always lose. Like Team A, G-Dragon was on a mission to win his trainee battle for the first time.

Team A decided to cover Taeyang's hit song "Only Look At Me" whereas Team B decided to go with G-Dragon's "One of A Kind". The focus then went to Team B's Song Yoon Hyung, Kim Dong Hyuk and Goo Jun Hee. Yang Hyun Suk commented that he doesn't look at how they are in the present, but rather at their potential and how much they will grow one year or even three years from now. Song Yoon Hyung revealed his dream was to become an actor, but after joining YGE in April 2012, he became an indispensable member according to his group. Kim Dong Hyuk also shared his piano background and how those around him were surprised to hear his pursuit of singing and dancing. Former 'K-Pop Star' contestant Goo Jun Hee also talked about how he was more interested in dancing rather than singing as shown through past clips of his Michael Jackson cover on 'Star King'. He revealed that his new dream is to touch people's hearts with his singing and hear that he sings well.

Taeyang visited Team A to review their practice performance and responded, "It's not that bad, but it's not that great either." Taeyang thought Team A has so much determination to prove themselves after losing their previous battle that it's actually hindering their performance. He advised the trainees to make their choreography less complicated and stiff and make it more memorable by having more fun and getting into the hip hop feel.

Next, it was G-Dragon's turn. He walked into the practice room giving Team B high fives but got serious once they started performing. G-Dragon shared during his interview, "It wasn't bad. They have strong energy, which was very nice to see and it left a strong impression." As a sunbae, he taught the boys how to captivate the audience with swag.
Team A and B were also invited to G-Dragon's concert where they experienced the pros of being a celebrity with fans calling out their name and introduced themselves to the YG Family of Big Bang and 2NE1 in the dressing room. When Yang Hyun Suk asked Big Bang and 2NE1 which group they think will win, the majority voted for Team A,  putting G-Dragon on edge. Park Bom chose Song Min Ho, B.I, and Kang Seung Yoon as her favorites, while Yang Hyun Suk's daughter chose Kim Dong Hyuk.

Taeyang visited Team A for a final review and commented that their performance was perfect, but it needed to be more free and natural to look handsome on stage. He then asked the boys to pretend like this is not a survival program but rather a karoake room and let loose, leading the team to enjoy their performance much more. G-Dragon also gifted Team B with his own suitcase and went through their rap word-by-word with Bobby and B.I.

Unfortunately, we were left with a cliffhanger this week, so check back in next week to find out which team impressed the judges! Judging by the preview, it seems the response wasn't so hot, but we'll just have to wait and see!
