With Billboard in the Bag, Psy's Next Target: Album This Summer

From the beginning of the new week, Psy graced the K-pop fans with the never-done-before honor of a Billboard trophy for 'Top Streaming Song Video.'
Of course, our desire for more never stops, as some people wished Psy to win additional honors in other five categories he was nominated for. But the first Billboard award as a Korean artist is a huge feat without any doubt.

Now is the time for Psy to begin looking forward again into the summer. His new album which will need to compete against star-studded playing field needs to hit all the key points and the right buttons in order to survive the industry.
Adele and Taylor Swift, the winners of last year's and this year's Billboard Top Artist, were able to garner enough points with the popularity of their albums. In Grammys, Album of the Year is generally regarded the highest honor. As such, Psy's next destination in sight is to make the jump into producing more than a song or two but an entire album that could mesmerize the public worldwide.
Psy has proven that he is certainly no one hit wonder as many critics labeled him after the rapid, enormous success of "Gangnam Style."  With that pressure off of him, Psy can perhaps now be a little freer in his new album production.
