CL’S SOLO ALBUM FEATURES HER IN A FUTURISTIC AND CHARISMATIC FEMALE SOLDIER.

2NE1’s leader CL’s teaser photo of her upcoming solo album was released. Her solo album will be unveiled on May 28.

CL, who turned into a Greek female soldier holding a flag, seems like she is a character from the far future. Her mesmerizing feature crosses the border between the past and the future with her fashion.

The real charm of this photo is the little black freckle just below her lips, and a black dot spotted beneath red lips in the background. This is a scene from her upcoming music video “The Baddest Female.”

Usually most YG artists change into two or three outfits at the most, but CL’s music video of “The Baddest Female” will feature 15 different outfits.

But what is more surprising is that the scenes were taken in 15 different settings, all in accordance with CL’s outfits. This shows how YG has made great investments into the music video, which is its pet project.

CL’s yet-to-be-unveiled music video has drawn attention from all across Korea when it was revealed that BigBang’s G-Dragon and Taeyang are going to feature in it, but her foreigner friends will also make an appearance in the music video.

Jeremy Scott, a world renown fashion designer who worked with world stars like Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Katy Perry, is actively promoting CL’s new music video overseas by posting CL’s soldier photograph on his personal Twitter account.

Personnel from YG Entertainment said, “2NE1 successfully ended Global World Tour, which was held together with the No.1 international concert company Live Nation for the first time for a Korean female artist. 2NE1’s LA and New York concerts were especially impressive. This promotion will go beyond domestic one and will cross borders, so we have put much thought into this large-scale promotion.”

CL’s new solo song “The Baddest Female” will be released on May 28, but despite nearing the D-Day there have only been 2 photographs released to the fans. YG decided that they would keep everything else under cover until the release date for the biggest impact on the public.
