Psy posted a photo with the President of Harvard University, Drew Faust, during his visit to her office prior to his scheduled lecture later that evening on May 9.
On May 10, Psy tweeted, "The president of Harvard, Drew Faust! Thx for giving me an opportunity to make a speech this evening" along with a photo of them together.
In the photo are the two of them enjoying a nice laughter together in Drew Faust's office. Drew Faust, the first female president at Harvard University, has been at the helm of the world's premiere educational institution for 6 years. From the photo alone, Psy and Drew Faust appear as though they have been friends longer than her time at Harvard.
Psy's lecture that took place on May 9 was sponsored by the Korean Studies department at Harvard University. Due to popular demand that poured in over 1,400 reservation requests, the venue was rescheduled from a 200-seat auditorium to Memorial Church.
On May 9, Psy's music video of "Gentleman" reached another milestone, passing 300 million YouTube hits. It is now the new world record holder for fewest days to reach 300 million views, as it took the viral video only 25 days since its official release.
Currently, Psy is actively doing promotional tours around the United States making TV and radio appearances.
