Sung Joon and Kim So Yeon to test out their chemistry in 'I Need Romance 3'

Sung Joon will star as the male lead in tvN's 'I Need Romance 3'!

tvN stated on the 20th, "Sung Joon has been confirmed for 'I Need Romance 3'... Sung Joon will star alongside Kim So Yeon."

'I Need Romance' series PD Jang Young Woo and writer Jung Hyun Sung will team up again for the third season which will portray the story of Shin Joo Yeon, a 33-year-old home shopping channel's merchandiser, who falls for a man in his twenties. Sung Joon will play the role of Joo Wan, a 27-year-old genius composer who returns to Korea after 17 years abroad to rekindle his long lost memories with Shin Joo Yeon.

Sung Joon shared, "Although I feel pressure due to the enormous success of the previous season, I am looking forward to working with the good director and cast and preparing for the filming with excitement."

'I Need Romance 3' will premiere mid-January. Sung Joon and Kim So Yeon will also make an appearance at the '2013 MAMA' as presenters on the 22nd!
