G-Dragon Reveals He’s Close Friends with Angelababy

G-Dragon remarked on his friendship with Chinese actress and singer Angelababy at a welcome meeting, held at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, where the stars gathered to talk about the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), prior to the main event on November 22.

G-Dragon, who is currently spreading his influence from Korea to Asia and beyond, is picking up celebrity fans all around the world, and Angelababy even attended one of his concerts recently.

During the welcome meeting, a Chinese reporter asked, “I heard Angelebaby went to your concert and even attended the after party. Could you talk more about that?”

G-Dragon responded, “I got to know her through last year’s MAMA, and Angelababy and I are close friends now. It’s true that she came to my concert.”

However, he was sure to make clear, “But we didn’t party together afterwards...so I’m not sure what you’re talking about right now.”

Meanwhile, the 2013 MAMA is set to take place at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on November 22, where Stevie Wonder, Paris Hilton, Ylvis, Icona Pop, Big Bang, EXO, 2NE1, Crayon Pop and more will take the stage.

G-Dragon Talks about Justin Bieber Collaboration and Excitement to Meet Paris Hilton

Ahead of rocking the night away, Big Bang’s G-Dragon participated in the press conference for the 2013 MAMA, where he mentioned Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton.

The press conference for the 2013 MAMA was held at the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo Arena on November 22.
When asked about his collaboration with Justin Bieber, G-Dragon replied, “To be honest, we’re already finished with the recording. I think the song will come out sometime next year.”

He continued, “But more than it being a really big project, I think it’ll be an album where artists with the same heart decided to have fun. It was less burdensome than a big album, so I’ll be able to show a better song to the fans. If you have anticipation for it, I’ll reply with an album that will meet those expectations.”

When asked about how it feels to meet Paris Hilton, who has fashion in common with him, G-Dragon said, “I like styling clothes, so I tried a lot of things but I haven’t really thought about it with Paris Hilton coming. But I’m still excited and nervous to meet a new star.”

He added, “Since I′ll be standing on the stage and on the red carpet for the first in awhile, I stressed a lot to present a lot of diverse things, so that I can look good to the fans in Korea and around the world.”

2013 MAMA will take place on November 22 at the Hong Kong Asia World-Expo Arena at 8PM (KST).

G-Dragon Praises His Fashionable Fans

Well-known for being one of the hottest and fashionable artists in Asia, Big Bang’s G-Dragon praised his own fans for being ‘fashionistas.’

A press conference was held for 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2013 MAMA) on November 22 at Hong Kong Asia World-Expo Arena for artists from around the world.

“I have a special love for fashion, so I do my best to show different fashion styles whenever I perform,” said G-dragon.

When a reporter asked what characterizes his fans, he said, “My fans are also very fashionable. Whenever I hold a concert or a performance, they come dressed in stylish clothes, so I don’t know where to look.”

Expressing his love for MAMA, G-Dragon said, “I get very excited every time I come to participate in MAMA, since it is one of the biggest music festivals. I enjoy preparing for the performance and hope to show you the best performance as I represent a Korean artist.”

2013 MAMA hosted by CJ E&M is one of the biggest music festivals in Asia, gathering some of the greatest K-pop artists and other artists from around the world to celebrate the culture and language of music.
