YG’S KANG SEUNG YOON REVEALS HIS NEW SONG JULY 31… ANOTHER HOME RUN AFTER ‘IT RAINS’?

YG Entertainment’s newly debuted artist KANG SEUNG YOON is making an attempt to hit a second home run with another song.

The entertainment agency, on July 22, revealed a teaser image of the rookie artist with an announcement; “KANG SEUNG YOON officially releasing “WIND AND YOUNG” on July 31”. While KANG SEUNG YOON exposed his sentimental side in ‘WILD AND YOUNG’ with his heart-melting teary eyes, he transformed himself into a completely different person in the teaser image revealed today.

Through YG’s official blog FROM YG, the CEO, YANG HYUN-SUK wrote, ““WIND AND YOUNG” is strong rock with KANG SEUNG-YOON’s refreshing voice which makes it perfect for summer.” From his comment “We are now carefully coming up with plans for KANG SEUNG-YOON to make an appearance on TV, which was not included in the original proposal,” he hints that fans will be able to see KANG SEUNG YOON as a solo on stage as well.

KANG SEUNG YOON’s guerrilla release song ‘IT RAINS’ on July 16 swept across different real-time music charts on many websites instantly after its release, despite its unannounced revelation. He basically ‘knocked down’ all charts. Since its release, the song still stands at the top on Olleh and Naver Music’s updated music chart.

All eyes are on the tyro artist to see if he can create another wave of sensation with ‘WILD AND YOUNG’, followed by his huge hit ‘IT RAINS’.

KANG SEUNG YOON’s mini album release is slated for early September, while he will also appear on a survival audition program called ‘WIN’, which will determine the formation of YG’s first boy group in 7 years since BIGBANG’s debut.
