Sandara Park felt thankful towards CL for saving her life

On a recent variety show that 2NE1 participated in, Sandara Park revealed that she was deeply touched by CL during an earthquake in Japan.

Sandara says “2 years ago, I was alone at 34th floor of a hotel in Japan, during then a 9 magnitude earthquake occurred. Usually I would tackle such thing on my own, but that time was too horrifying, so I went out to search for help, but could not find anyone.”

To this, CL added “I was able to see the walls cracking. Windows were swaying and telephone lines were broken off.”
Sandara then revealed “I made a phone call, it was CL that answered. She spoke to me in a very calm voice and told me to stay put, not to go anywhere until she comes to get me. After a short while, she really came to rescue me. The whole building was shaking, we went down from the 34th floor using the staircase.”

CL says “Because I was thinking, if we were to die then I’d rather we die together, so I went to find Sandara.”
