T-ara shocks by signing up for acting

T-ara has made yet another shocking announcement following its decision to recruit two more members last week.

This time, the girl group has signed with acting agency Gu Management, according to the company on Wednesday.

“All T-ara members are renowned for their acting abilities. Having signed with us, we’ll continue to enhance the potential of the group as actors as they take on roles not just in Korea and Japan, but Asia-wide,” the agency said.

“Unlike other groups, T-ara’s strength lies in the fact that each member has a unique point of difference, and that’s why we agreed to enter into this partnership,” it added.

For their singing responsibilities, the girl group will continue to be managed by its primary agency Core Contents Media. However, for all acting-related activities, Gu Management will step in to speak on behalf of the group.
