SNSD performs “The Boys” on ‘David Letterman’ Show

SNSD, composed of nine girls, landed in the United States.
SNSD appeared on CBS’s major talk show The Late Show with David Letterman on January 31 (local time) and performed their hit song “The Boys.”
SNSD proved that they are Korea’s top girl group on the show. Since the show is loved by many fans from all over the world, a lot of people paid attention to the group.
David Letterman’s show airs every weekday at 11:35 p.m. The show is one of the top three talk shows in the United States along with NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with Conan O’brian. SNSD appeared on the David Letterman’s show for the first time as a Korean singer.
SNSD members wore black stage costumes and performed “The Boys.” After the performance, the MC for the show praised the members and said “Thank you” in Korean.
SNSD flew to New York on January 30 to promote themselves by appearing on talk shows and giving interviews. They appeared on ABC’s popular talk show Live! with Kelly on February 1 at 9:00 a.m.
A music producer for The Late Show with David Letterman previously said, “We decided to cast SNSD for our show because we think that they are a very interesting and unique group. We are happy that they chose our show to help them debut in the United States.”
SNSD will give interviews to AP, one of the United States’ premier broadcast and media outlets, and a popular entertainment news program called Extra TV.
SNSD’s special American album The Boys, which was released on January 17, ranked second on the Billboard Latest Chart (February 4) and twenty second on Heatseekers Albums Chart.
