EXO Joins Other Artists on WAPOP Stage to Represent K-Pop

Boy group EXO performed on the WAPOP stage to represent Korean culture.

On November 2 EXO performed at Dom Art Hall in Seoul for the WAPOP stage. WAPOP, which stands for World & Asia + WOW PO, thrives to promote Korean culture through the arts. EXO joined idol groups SISTAR, Dalshabet, and vocal group 4MEN on the WAPOP stage.

Unlike the other artists who have performed on the culture-promoting stage, EXO garnered anticipation from fans as the group performed for the first time at WAPOP. As one of the leading boy groups, EXO’s participation contributed greatly in the promotion of Korean arts and culture.

WAPOP began its weekly Saturday performances on October 1, promoting Hallyu dramas, K-Pop, Korean traditional instruments, and special performances, opening the gates to a new type of collaborative stage. In the month of November’s stages, performances by EXO, SISTAR, Dalshabet, 4Men, NU’EST, Boyfriend, Son Dam Bi, After School, and Teen Top are expected to raise attention towards and assist promotions of Korean arts and culture.
