2NE1′s Gong Minji is in deep sorrow at her grandmother’s death

2NE1′s Gong Minji is going to Yeonggwang at the news of her grandmother’s death. Her grandmother is Gong Ok Jin, a famous classic solo performer.

On July 9, a spokesperson for Gong said, “At the news of Gong Ok Jin’s death, Gong Minji is preparing to go to Yeonggwang with her parents. She’s now in deep sorrow.”

Other 2NE1 members are also expressing their sorrow at the death of Gong’s grandmother.

YG Entertainment says, “We don’t know if other 2NE1 members know about the death of Gong Minji’s grandmother. Because 2NE1 don’t have any schedules today, there won’t be any problems with their work.”

Gong Ok Jin have suffered from a stroke since 1998. She died at the age of 81 and her mortuary is set up in Yeonggwang.
