SNSD’s Hyoyeon and Jessica recently flashed back their old days when they were trainees

On April 30, the showcase for the movie I AM was held at the CGV Youngdeungpo, in Youngdeungpo, Seoul. Many acts represented by SM Entertainment, including SNSD, TVXQ, SHINee, Super Junior, Gangta, attended the event.

Hyoyeon and Jessica talked about their old days.

Hyoyeon says, “I always tried to look on bright side. Thanks to the achievements SM’s older groups made, we were provided with a better circumstance for training.”

Eunhyuk added, “Hyoyeon was an exceptionally fantastic dancer. She stood out among 100 trainees.”

Jessica also looked back, saying, “I was a trainee for seven years. People say I spent really long time as a trainee, but I didn’t think it’s long or boring. I enjoyed those days while also going to school.”

It’s no wonder the tickets for the showcase were sold out, which was held at the theater, accommodating 550 seats. All SM’s artists brightened up the high-profile showcase, and it was live cast on Mnet.Com through all over the world.

I AM is a biographical film featuring SM Town’s artists and their years of efforts and behind stories in the process of becoming world-famous stars—the first Asian singers going on the stage at New York Madison Square Garden, the center of pop. The high-profile movie is out on May 10.
