Actress Lee Da Hae became one of the most popular Korean actresses in China.
A publicist at Lee’s agency, Forestar Entertainment revealed, “Recently, the followers of Lee Da Hae’s Weibo exceeded 3 million. This is the highest number among all the Korean actresses who are in China.”
Lee even uploaded a picture on Weibo in celebration of exceeding 3 million followers.
He added, “Weibo is the one of the most frequently used SNS in China. In other words, high number of followers on Weibo means popularity. Lee Da Hae is becoming one of the most sought out actresses as commercial model after exceeding 3 million followers on Weibo.”
Lee’s popularity in China began with the broadcast of My Girl in 2008. Not only that, Lee is attracting attention once again by being cast as the lead role of Love Recipe with Chinese star Joseph Cheng.
Her agency reveals, “During the open set of the drama, Love Recipe in early-May, Chinese media have gathered to see Lee Da Hae. She created a stir by interviewing with her fluent Chinese.”
Love Recipe is about the success story of a cook from a Dimsum restaurant. Lee Da Hae plays the role of a talented chef So Ha who raises her niece in a harsh environment.
