Big Bang met fans at the concert designed to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the YG Family held on January 7 and 8 at the Osaka Kyosera Dome. Eight months have passed for the five members together to stand on stage inJapan.
The January 7 concert attracted 45,000 fans. The news that Daesung and G-Dragon who suspended their activities for the car accident and marijuana scandal respectively will stand on stage seem to spark the heated curiosity of local fans and media.
During the performance, G-Dragon and Daesung delivered both their apology and sincere gratitude for fans by saying, “I am deeply sorry to cause anxiety to you.” “I got to know how important music and stage are to me. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your constant support and love.”
Taeyang said, “This year I’m determined to encourage myself to ascend to the top position in the field I’m working in;” Seungri spoke for his aspirations, “This year I hope to stand on Tokyo Dome together with the other members.”
The concert was splashed across the Japanese media using the word, “Revival.”
Sankei Sports and Nikkan Sports reported: “The 45,000 audience greeted Big Bang with hearty cheers. The acclamations seem like a beacon of hope for revival. They completely rose from the dead.”
The YG Family concert featured 2NE1, Seven, Jinusean, Tablo and Psy. The concert tour will be continued on Tokyo Saitama Super Arena on January 21 and 22, attracting 160,000 fans.
