2PM’s Nickhun is nominated for ‘Kerd of the Year’

2PM’s Nickhun was recently nominated for the grand prize at Kerd Awards.

On March 30, 2PM’s agency, JYP Entertainment, said Nickhun will attend the awards ceremony, which will be held on March 30 in Bangkok, Thailand. He was nominated for the Kerd of the Year prize, which is the grand prize of the award.

Kerd Awards is an awards ceremony led by Thailand’s popular entertainer and talk show host Woody. It selects the most powerful people in 7 categories, including music and comedy.

The Kerd of the Year, in which Nickhun was nominated for, has the people nominated of whom had the most influential activities in Thailand. People can vote through methods like SMS via local cell phones in Thailand.

Nichkhun has kept busy in Thailand last year being a member of 2PM and being a representative for various products. He also appeared on a Thai movie recently.

Nickhun flew to Thailand on March 29 to attend the awards ceremony and said, “I’m honored and also nervous to have been invited and nominated for such a big prize. I want to thank my fans who always support me.”

Nickhun will also attend 2PM’s fan meeting, which will be held on April 1 in Seoul.
