T-ara’s Soyeon has told her feelings about doing volunteer work, which was done as T-ara won a Triple Crown.
On February 1, T-ara did volunteer work around 10 a.m. for senior citizens who live alone with With4U, a volunteer organization.
At an interview before the volunteer work, T-ara’s leader Soyeon said, “We’ve decided to do volunteer work in order to repay the love we got in 2011. We’re planning to have a good time by giving gifts and serve lunch for the elderly.”
She also said she felt uncomfortable when other people said they were doing the volunteer work because of the promise they made earlier. T-ara promised that they will do volunteer work when they win a Triple Crown. She said, “We don’t feel comfortable when we hear that we are doing this volunteer work only because of the promise we made. We’ve always planned to do volunteer work. We just couldn’t do it because of our hectic schedule.”
She also emphasized that their volunteer work is well intentioned, saying, “We’ll forget about the promise today and focus on our volunteer work instead.”
T-ara also provided necessary items that they bought with seven million one they earned from their agency as a bonus for winning a Triple Crown and three million won they’ve saved, and hand cream, underwear, and rice given by various companies.
