With six arena shows earlier this month, the North American leg of BIG BANG’s2015 Made World Tour made it the biggest and most successful Korean-artist tour on the continent to date. Fans will soon be able to revisit the massive spectacle thanks to DramaFever.
Billboard can exclusively reveal the international television and movie streaming service will premiere their BIG BANG: MADE 2015 Concert documentary in November. See a trailer for the upcoming doc below:
The doc, which follows the K-pop tour through U.S. dates in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New Jersey, is the first original production from DramaFever. The service had previously co-produced two Korean TV series, 2013’s hit drama The Heirs and Tomorrow’s Cantabile in 2014.
“The ability for music to cross barriers and transcend culture is undeniable. It’s one of the reasons K-pop has become a global phenomenon,” said Suk Park, president of DramaFever, in a statement. “As one of the biggest and most unique acts, BIGBANG has set itself apart as the vanguard of the genre. This is why theBIG BANG: Made 2015 Concert is our first foray into original programming. It’s clear from our internal metrics that our core audience of multicultural millennials are rabid fans of K-pop. We look forward to hearing their response.”
“BIG BANG: Made 2015″ Concert airs on DramaFever for free on Nov. 11 for American and Canadian viewers. Fans can currently watch past documentaries of the band’s past tours — including their 2012 Alive Tour that hit North America — at a BIG BANG hub site.
