Launching his solo concert in four years, Big Bang Taeyang sold out tickets to his concert in just five minutes.
Taeyang’s concert tickets, which began the first round of sales on September 16 at 8 p.m. (KST) through Gmarket, were sold out in just five minutes.
The upcoming solo concert, taking place on October 11 and 12 in Seoul Olympic Park’s Olympic Hall, will be staging Taeyang’s performances, which have been upgraded from years of Big Bang’s world tour, Japan dome concert tour and his solo tour in Japan, gathering a high level of anticipation.
The competition for the concert tickets was even higher due to the fact that Taeyang’s second album Rise topped various music charts in and out of Korea when it was released in June and his title song Eyes Nose Lips ranked number one on Gaon’s noraebang chart for ten consecutive weeks, setting the highest record this year so far.
Taeyang’s concert will begin the final round of ticket sales on September 17 at 8 p.m. (KST) through Gmarket, predicting a more fierce competition.
