You can only finish the sentence in full vigor “We’re gonna party like…” if only you were present at The Butter Factory Thursday-night GAJA! on 21 June 2012 – the SM Entertainment producers and performers Beatburger to be back in town by popular demand, after an overly successful one-day K-pop dance workshop, talking about their current plans and the future and then, the party everyone’s been waiting for.
Only until they arrived on the deck slightly after midnight strike, the dance floor went to a crowd to see the boys firsthand. And again, to recall the first ever club, dance and music together in one night, CINQSWAN dance group opened the night with SM’s latest release of f(x) ‘Electric Shock’. Then Shim Jaewon, Gregory S. Hwang and Choi Hyo Jae took the dance floor by storm, acting out all the songs from Twinkle Twinkle, Mr. Simple, Genie, BUT (Beauty, TVXQ Japanese track), Maximum, even to MAMA where dance workshop goers(like me) cheered in great voices.
More than expected, Jaewon satisfied himself like he was in a noraebang by singing Linkin’ Park’s New Dividealong with Sung Min Ju‘s live guitar jamming that rocked the stage off. Fervor and euphoria escalated immediately off and other accompanying acts of his live music action. Now tell us – what’s not to like being pampered in their music dimension of K-pop remixes, live rock guitar and be eyecandy spoilt of their dance showoff?
One must say, one misses out, they seriously, literally, miss out one K-pop sweet dream at night. How could you not? They were friendly, party people that got the night groovin’ til 3AM. This is Shim Jae-won who jokes off and tried to kill SHINee Minho, digitally.
Those of you who missed out their 3-day activities in Singapore including their very first international K-pop dance workshop that was an amazing success, in which you can watch their live dance in action of EXO-K MAMA and Super Junior’s Mr. Simple at (x)clusive, and their stories of their company, SM Entertainment in a special interview out, be sure to be in town or set yourself free the next time because they promise that “next time we’ll organize and prepare in a much better condition of the dance workshop.” Get your sneakers squeaking today and get prepared to the dance floor at Butter Factory!
This event coverage is brought to you by the joint efforts of the Singapore-based (x)clusive and Korea.com.We hope you enjoy the extensive coverage of BEATBURGER’s activities in Singapore! Do follow us for more updates on Beat Burger and K-pop!
