Recently, girl group f(x) ranked at the top on M Countdown which allowed them to set a triple crown record after a week of their return stage.
In the live broadcast of the cable channel M.net’s M Countdown that aired on July 5 at CJ E&M Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul, f(x) topped the rankings with “Electric Shock.”
Just a week after their return performance on M Countdown on June 14, the girls ranked at the top of a chart. Soon, they swept first rankings of KBS 2’s Music Bank and SBS’ Inkigayo.
On June 10, the group released “Electric Shock,” the title track of its new mini-album. The music video was released two days after that, attracting attention on online music charts and YouTube.
The July 5 episode covers f(x) competing for the top ranking with other girls groups like Sistar and After School
