Park Jin Young, BoA, and Yang Hyun Suk will appear on K-pop Star 2.
On June 14, an official of SBS’s survival audition program K-pop Star said, “There is almost no chance of changing the three jury members, BoA, Yang Hyun Suk, and Park Jin Young, who appeared in season 1.”
The official added, “It seems like the three agencies will all join the program and they are highly unlikely not to appear in season 2.”
“We are thinking hard how to make the show different from the season 1.”
“Since there are a lot more participants than season 1, we are rearranging the date for preliminary, which will be held in January prior to the show air. We are thinking to hold preliminary abroad in September and in Korea at the end of August or early in September.”
The official also talked about SM Entertainment regarding their decision on casting nobody from season 1. “The original rule for the show is the winner only can decide which agency she or he wants to go. Therefore, SM’s decision is quite different from the show rule. It’s their own decision.”
Season 1 of the show went off air in April and season 2 of the show will start airing in November.
