My Name holds successful Japanese showcase

My Name holds successful Japanese showcase

My Name recently held their first successful showcase in Japan.
The group held their showcase at AX Hall in Tokyo, Japan on June 11. They will release their debut single in July and will keep busy in Japan.
At the showcase, My Name sang the Japanese version of their Korean debut song “Message.” They also sang “I Want You” and “Summer Party,” which will be included in their Japanese debut album, and “Hello & Goodbye” and “Replay” from their first Korean single album.
Japanese fans impressed the group by supporting and cheering the group the way Korean fans do. Some of the fans even cried tears of happiness to see the members.
My Name said, “We held our first showcase in Japan. We will try hard to show our good side.”
The showcase was full of people. Even though the venue can accommodate 2,000 people, more than that came to see the group and crowded the showcase.
Most of the fans were in their teens and 20s. This means that My Name captured Japan with their skills not with the Hallyu boom.
Over 50 media outlets and 100 reporters came to the showcase to report on the group.
My Name will release their Japanese debut single on July 25.
