Jay Park seems to be set to emerge as a world star.
Recently the bewitching singer and dancer successfully finished his first solo tour in America, titled Apahm Tour,” attracting ten thousand fans.
The tour consisted of concerts and mini-fan meetings with the kick-off in Washington D.C. on May 18. It lasted ten days and held in four different cities.
The tour is meaningful in that it is Park’s first solo concerts in the U.S. What it makes more meaningful is that the tour was organized by the request from Verizon Wireless, one of the biggest mobile network operators. The company is famous for its work—organizing tours of world-famous artists.
All the four of Park’s concerts sold out, causing a sensation. What’s more, greater number of fans than expected gathered in and out of the stadium, caused a loud commotion.
Jay Park gave the performances of the songs from the two studio albums released in Korea for the first time since their release, enchanting his royal fans.
The singer and dancer also gave fantastic B-boy dance performance with the members of AOM. a B-boy dance team Park himself belongs to. The heartthrob even walked down the stage to give his dear fans the thrill of the concert by getting closer to them.
The entertainer also held mini-concerts before or after the day of the four concerts held in the four cities. The fan meetings were for the fans who didn’t get the tickets for the concerts. What a gracious star! The singer even threw various events for them and expressed boundless affection towards them.
The ex-2PM member, currently successful solo, revealed his determinations for his more craft and gratitude towards his fans. “I’ve been hyper-excited at the tour as it’s the first tour in the States since my debut. I’m proud of myself and feeling the ecstasy now that it was successfully over—much better than expected. I’ll keep doing my best to show you the best of myself through various projects. I’d like to say thank you again to all the fans who made it to the concerts.”
