Actor Jang Keun Suk is set to receive a Special Award at a Japanese short film festival.
On June 14, Jang’s agency, Tree J. Company, said that Jang will receive a Special Award at the ‘Short Short Film Festival & Asia’ thanks to the movie Do You Think Living Like This is Good?
The movie is made by Jang and his schoolmates, who majored in Drama and Film at Hanyang University. Jang was the writer, director, editor, and the lead actor. It took a week to make the movie and 13 hours to edit.
The movie portrays Jang as an actor and as a human. Since he worked on the movie during his busy schedules, the movie means a lot to him.
The festival is the biggest short film festival, which has gained official approval by the Academy Awards. The festival will be held on June 15 through 30 in Harajuku, Omotesandō, Roppongi, and Yokohama. Jang will receive a Special Award at the opening event, which will be held on June 14.
Jang will start his ’2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour’ and hold ‘The Cri Show 2′ on July 7 in Seoul.
