Choosing SBS’s Faith as her new project for the first time since her last one 6 years ago, actress Kim Hee Sun recently revealed her firm determination on her craft: “Through the new project, I hope to make myself an actor rather than a star.” During the recent filming that was shot at Kintex in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, the smashing beauty revealed her resolution. “I fell quite nervous as it is the first shooting since my last work six years ago, but I’ll do my best. I think I was lucky so far. I enjoyed great success over the past decade thanks to the love and support from my fans. Now, I want to turn over a new leaf. I’ll restart my career as a good actor.” Having debut in 1993 when she was a high school student, the actress in her thirties said, “I was just a teenager who knew nothing about the showbiz when I started my career. It’s been ages since I debuted. For the upcoming six months, I’ll lead a life as Jeon Eun Soo rather than Kim Hee Sun.” Kim also showed her total trust on writer Song Ji Na, director Kim Jong Hak, and her co-actors including Lee Min Ho, and revealed her wishes. “I hope to express my gratitude to fans who have waited for me so long with good outcome.” The actress also posted her thoughts and determinations on her online fan café. Reportedly, the shooting goes on over the night almost every day for its advanced production value—although the first airing of the series is over months away.

Andy of the legendary idol group Shinhwa and Seo Ah of the Brave Girls will host SBS E’s K-Star News, in place of former emcees Son Ho Young and Yoo Yeon Ji.
Recently, the rookie emcees worked together on a teaser for the program. The teaser was on the theme that they are surrounded by rumors about being a couple—which is the first rumors since their debut 14 years ago. The shooting was not easy for the two as they had to play multiple characters.
Having met in person for the first time on the day of the shooting, the twosome looked awkward for a while. However, the pair showed such a perfect partnership at the end, that they were applauded by the crew.
Andy played such multiple roles of an announcer of news program, a reporter, a crew member, and others, that everyone was blown away by his undisclosed talents. Andy’ partner Seo Ah stated, “I was a huge fan of Shinhwa when I was in high school. I’m really excited and I’m honored to be cast as a co-host of Andy.”
K-Star News hosted by Andy and Seo Ah airs on SBS E! Monday through Friday at 7:00 p.m.
