Big Bang helps 600 thousand children through UNICEF

Big Bang will help children all over the world through UNICEF.
Big Bang recently announced that they will donate the proceeds from their world tour, on which they will go Europe, the Americas, and Asia until in December, to UNICEF.
Yang Min Seok, president of YG Entertainment, and Ryu Jong Soo, UNICEF director-general, attended a signing on June 14 and agreed that Big Bang will donate part of the proceeds from the ‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012.’
The proceeds from selling their concert tickets will be used for inoculations, and one of the children support businesses. With the donation, UNICEF can vaccinate over 600,000 children against measles. It’s like one ticket purchaser saving one child.
UNICEF and YG Entertainment will also raise funds by selling products, which they made together, at the concert.
G-Dragon says, “We decided to support UNICEF to pay love back that we’ve received from all over the world. We hope that many children can be vaccinated and grow up healthy with our donations.”
