Big Bang blasts onto the world charts


Big Bang’s special album Still Alive recently hit the U.S., Canada, France, Australia, and Chile iTunes album charts.
On June 5, according to the U.S. iTunes album chart, the group’s special album ranked 46th. Big Bang is the only Korean singer who entered the Top 200 list on iTunes album chart. John Mayer’s Born and Raised ranked 1st and Adele’s 21 ranked 2nd.
Big Bang also ranked 34th in Canada, 162nd in France, 90th in Australia, 25th in Mexico, and 49th in Chile.
Since international top stars, including, John Mayer, Adele, Eminem, and Madonna, and steady sellers, including, Beatles, U2, and Maroon 5 are in the list, Big Bang’s records drew even more attention. The group proved that they are the leader group of K-pop in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
The album Still Alive includes new songs, including, “Monster,” “Still Alive,” “Feeling,” “Bingle Bingle,” and “Ego,” and the special edition version of “Fantastic Baby.” The song “Monster” ranked first on several Korean major music sites, including Melon and Mnet.
