Dream High 2 Faces Severe Disapproval

After a great start for Dream High 2 last week with its first episode, its second airing didn't get much appreciation. Fans couldn't understand what was going on in the episode as the show focused more on musical numbers than the plot.

Dream High 2 focuses on the struggles of students at Kirin High School, a once popular school for the arts that is going through financial trouble. Instead of showing more of the drama, the episode used some musical and dance scenes to portray the troubles of our high school students. By using scenes like Kahi and Kim Jung Tae's "Trouble Maker," the show soon lost interest with the viewers.

In the show's online forum, viewers commented by criticizing the show's second episode saying the program has went down in comparison with the first episode. One viewer said, "I have no idea what that episode was trying to show. Whenever I was trying to focus on the plot, scenes kept changing erratically. I think I watched them singing for more than 30 minutes. This is not even a musical drama, so I don't get why they are doing this." Others criticized the show for being pointless by just promoting the new cast.
