Jiyul of Dal Shabet, a girl group currently hot with their new song “Hit U,” has recently attracted attention by changing into a pregnant woman.Jiyul has made a cameo appearance in the movie Papa (directed by Han Ji Seung and produced by Sang Sang Film), released on February 1, as a pregnant woman. In the movie, Jiyul appears as a top star that manager Chun Seop (played by Park Yong Woo), who has a great influence in the Korean music industry, looks for.
Although the role she had to play was a pregnant woman, which could be a little bit hard for a girl group member to play, she willing said yes to the offer from director Han Ji Seung because she used to love his films.
Jiyul said, “I was worried a lot at first about making a cameo appearance as a pregnant woman. Thanks to the encouragement from Park Yong Woo and the crew members on the set, I could do well in shooting. It was a great experience.”
Jiyul has starred in the music videos of Dal Shabet’s new song “Hit U” and 4Men & Mi’s “That Man That Woman.” Dal Shabet, to which Jiyul belongs, has also made a cameo appearance in the movie Wonderful Radio.
Dal Shabet released new album Hit U on January 27. Their new song is currently hot on the charts.
