“E” SWEEPS CHARTS + NO.1 ON ITUNES CHARTS IN 16 COUNTRIES, BEGINNING THE RUSH

After sweeping all the major music charts in Korea with their new song for this August, group BIG BANG took the No.1 on iTunes chart of 16 countries.
BIG BANG released new single “E” on August 5th at 0 o’clock. “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” included in the new single and “ZUTTER” released by GD&TOP unit for the first time in five years have taken the No.1 on charts upon their release.
“LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” is ranked in the first place on the real-time chart of six major music-streaming websites: Soribada, Genie, Olleh Music, NAVER Music, Mnet, and Bugs Music, as of 6am on August 5. “ZUTTER” is in the No.1 on the chart of Korea’s biggest music-streaming website Melon, as well as on Monkey 3. The two songs are taking turns to take the first and second places on charts, proving BIG BANG’s formidable potential.
Notably, BIG BANG’s August single “E” with “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER” are drawing keen attention not only in Korea but also in foreign countries. The single is in the top place on iTunes single albums chart in 16 countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Chile, El Salvador, Finland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Plus, the single is in the second place on iTunes chart of six countries: Canada, Columbia, Norway, Romania, Slovenia, and Sweden, in the third place in the United States, and in the 17th place in the U.K.
BIG BANG has consistently swept foreign iTunes charts with their single “M”, “A”, and “D” released so far this year. Single “D” released last month also took the No.1 on the iTunes single album charts in 16 countries including Hong Kong, Macao, Norway, and Sweden.
