BIG BANG, WINNER, IKON TO MAKE RELEASES A MONTH AFTER ONE ANOTHER

YG Entertainment’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk has just revealed in a statement that all three groups among BIGBANG, WINNER, and iKON will be making their comebacks and debut consecutively one after the other in the first half of this year.

On February 15th, Yang Hyun Suk told TV Report that, “BIGBANG’s comeback is currently planned to be released sometime in April. For now we are planning on April at the latest and we will make their comeback sooner if possible, but there definitely will not be a need to postpone it.

“Following BIGBANG’s comeback are their juniors waiting in line. All three teams will be coming out in one month intervals. I guess you can think of it as the older brothers kicking off first before their younger brothers,” CEO Yang stated.

Yang Hyun Suk further revealed that all three groups have exchanged their Lunar New Year vacation time for more hours in the studio, stating that the members have been working hard with the production team to finish up the last few bits of their album completion. Since all three teams have songs that have already been completed during their spare time, a comeback within the first half of the year is very likely.

“BIGBANG has not released an album for the last three years. BIGBANG’s fans have been waiting longer than anybody else. This is what I feel most apologetic for to their fans. The members are all currently working really hard, but when you listen to their new music, it’s really thrilling and heart-pounding. Their new music almost gives the same exciting feeling as if you were to meet someone you haven’t met in a really long time,” Yang Hyun Suk replied when asked about why BIGBANG was put as the agency’s first priority.

“This new album is an album that is filled with songs that are condensed with BIGBANG’s experiences and charms. All songs depend on who is singing them; I came to realize that the artist is more important than the actual song through BIGBANG,” CEO Yang continued, “And leader G-Dragon has indeed been participating in the production of over half of the album. He is consulting with the other members and their suggestions as well. All five members are practically living in the recording studios right now.”

All three groups are speculated by YG Entertainment to be coming out in the months of April, May, and June of 2015 in the order of BIGBANG with a comeback album, WINNER as the second group with their comeback album, and iKON as rookies with their very first debut single.
