Parody clips of Psy’s new music video ‘Gentleman’ are flooding Youtube, starting from Angry Bird to Adolf Hitler.
Psy, on April 13, finally unveiled the much-awaited music video ‘Gentleman’. And since its release, Youtubers are entertaining the public with their diverse video clips that parody the new viral song.
One Youtube user edited scenes from a movie to make it seem like Hitler is dancing the ‘arrogant dance’ along the music, while another cut out a mobile app game character Angry Bird to show Psy and the little kids playing soccer with it.
A Canadian Youtuber remade the song and titled it “I’m a Canadian”, while another user recreated Psy’s song using a keyboard. There was also a video clip where the entire song was translated into English.
Apart from this, a gangster version with a man wearing a red mask is drawing attention as he raps along the song with a gun in his hand. In a different clip, a child is also attracting viewers by dancing the ‘arrogant dance.’
Psy’s rise to stardom began last July, when his mega-hit video ‘Gangman Style’ was first uploaded on Youtube. It is no surprise that his new song released 9 months after the record-breaker is again captivating the Internet users from all corners of the world.
‘Gentleman’ was released for the first time at zero hour on April 12, and is climbing the ranks on Korean music charts like Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Olleh Music, Soribada, Naver and Daum Music, Monkey 3 and Cyworld Music. While he swept across the nine music charts for three days in Korea, Psy has also been ranked in the top 10 on iTunes Chart in 25 different countries.
